World Water Day is celebrated annually on the 21st of March, and aims to raise awareness on the water scarcity and pollution problems that we face especially in developing countries.
The theme for 2014 World Water Day is “water and energy”. Without energy we would not have easy access to clean drinking water and a large amount of our water is used in power generation. Without one we would not have access to the other.
For NCC, the theme for this World Water Day is especially important as many of our staff work in the power generation sector. It is also refreshing to see the themes for these environment days considering the industrial and manufacturing aspects of a developing a world. We hope that you will be able to use the poster we have created to raise awareness and appreciated the interconnectedness of water and energy. You can find the poster available for download below.
Saving water is saving energy, saving energy is saving water!!!
